This award-winning NYC bus tour includes stops at Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Wall Street, the 9/11 Memorial, as well as a harbor cruise with views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and more!
The tour departs daily at 10:00 AM on 7th Ave between 50th & 51st Streets (in the middle of the block), and ends at 4:00 PM at the same location.
After a drive through the Times Square area, the first stop on the tour is Rockefeller Center, for views of St. Patrick's Cathedral, the location of the ice skating rink and Christmas Tree, and NBC's Today Show set.
The second stop is Madison Square Park - the original location of Madison Square Garden Arena. This area provides spectacular views of dramatic architecture featured in numerous books and films: the Flatiron Building (Godzilla, Spider-Man), the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company Tower (The Runaway Skyscraper, Futurama), and the Empire State Building (King Kong, Independence Day).
The tour continues with a drive through some of the best-known NYC's neighborhoods, such as Greenwich Village, SoHo, Canal Street in Chinatown, and the Financial districts.
The third stop is Wall Street for views of the New York Stock Exchange, Federal Hall (the location of the first Capitol Building of the United States), Trinity Church, and a drive by the famous Charging Bull sculpture on Broadway.
The fourth stop is the World Trade Center, as we visit the 9/11 Memorial. The tour does not include entry into the 9/11 Museum, but visitors can walk the grounds of the Memorial, visit the waterfalls of "Reflecting Absence," (the footprints of where the original twin towers stood), and see the Survivor Tree that stood up to the destruction of 9/11.
Around 1:00 pm, we'll stop for a quick lunch break at the Fulton 55 Market.
The fifth stop is at Pier 11 for the 2:00 pm boat cruise on the New York Water Taxi. This 45-minute guided cruise has a concession stand with various snacks and drinks for purchase. You'll experience magnificent views of the Manhattan and Brooklyn skylines, iconic Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Williamsburg bridges, Governor's Island, Ellis Island, and a 360 degree turn in front of the Statue of Liberty for amazing photo opportunities!
The boat docks at Pier 79 in Midtown Manhattan, where we board our bus to continue the tour. This tour segment includes a drive by the original "Soupman," a restaurant made famous by the Seinfeld TV sitcom, Columbus Circle and Lincoln Center, where the Metropolitan Opera House and Juilliard Performing Arts School are located.
The last stop is at Central Park West and 72nd Street, at the Dakota Building (former home of John Lennon). The stop includes a short guided walk into Central Park to visit the Strawberry Fields with the Imagine mosaic dedicated to John Lennon, as well as the views of other sites in the area such as the luxury condominiums that numerous celebrities call home.
Along the way and back to our original departure point on 7th Avenue, we'll see Central Park Zoo, famous Plaza Hotel and Carnegie Hall.
