Where do we meet for our tour?

Driving in and need to park your vehicle?

We recommend using SpotHero – a parking reservation service that lets you find and reserve hourly, monthly, airport, and event parking at thousands of lots and garages in New York City.

Ultimately, there are multiple parking options available close to our NYC tours’ start/end point, and you can search and see them on google maps here.

Do I get my tickets in the mail?

We do not mail tickets to you. Instead, the email confirmation we send is your tour ticket – don’t delete it! However, if you misplace your confirmation email, use your last name as the reservation number.

What if I show up late, or just a few minutes before the scheduled departure time?

We highly recommend you arrive at least 15 – 20 minutes before your scheduled departure time to ensure your reservation is honored. You have up to ten (10) minutes before the scheduled departure time to ensure your seat on the tour. Ten (10) minutes before the departure time, we note outstanding reservations as “no shows.” If we have walk-up passengers, they will be given a ticket and will be boarded at this time.

Why type of buses does USA Guided Tours use?

Our luxury tour buses provide a comfortable and climate-controlled environment for an enjoyable touring experience, while also offering protection from the elements. We cater to various group sizes with a diverse fleet of vehicles, from SUVs to premium motor-coaches, ensuring that our private tours can be customized for couples or large groups alike. To maintain a more intimate atmosphere on our public tours, we intentionally limit the capacity of our tour buses to keep the average group size small.
We do our best to keep large, same-party groups together on the same bus, but please remember that the seating is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Once you claim your seats – they’re reserved only for you for the duration of the tour.

Can we bring baby strollers, wheelchairs, and carry-on luggage on board the tour vehicles?

We strive to make our tours accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Our small-capacity tour buses can accommodate foldable wheelchairs and foldable baby strollers. However, if you or a member of your party uses a full-size wheelchair that requires a ramp, we kindly ask you to contact us directly. We’re more than happy to make arrangements to accommodate your mobility needs.

For those with full-size baby strollers and carry-on luggage, we recommend storing them at your hotel or utilizing a professional storage service to ensure your tour experience is as smooth and comfortable as possible.

Our tours do involve some walking, but we want to assure you that your comfort is our priority. If you prefer, you have the option to stay on board the bus near each landmark, without the need to exit at every stop.

Are service animals allowed on buses?

USA Guided Tours’ policy prohibits animals onboard our vehicles, however, we will accept without charge a Service Animal required to assist a person with a disability. Before admitting customers with Service Animals onboard any of our vehicles, USA Guided Tours personnel are permitted to ask if the animal is required because of a disability, and what type of work or task the animal has been trained to perform.

To a reasonable extent possible, USA Guided Tours will assign a seat next to a person who agrees to share the open seat next to them (as they may be allergic, etc.), and the service animal must ride in the vehicle within the owner’s space. Note: The Service Animal is not permitted to occupy a passenger seat.

To the extent required by law, and at their sole discretion, USA Guided Tours LLC reserves the right to refuse any Service Animal onboard its buses when reasonably necessary, for the comfort and safety of other passengers and USA Guided Tours employees and its partners/affiliates.

What is your pricing for children, and what ages are discounted for tour tickets?

Kids 12 and under receive USA Guided Tour’s discounted children’s price (varies with tours). Children under 3 years old ride for free, if they are able to be held in their parents’ lap during the tour. If you would rather have a separate seat for your infant, you may purchase a child’s discounted ticket.

Is the tip included in the tour ticket price?

Tips are not included in the tour ticket price. We do ask that you consider tipping your tour guide and driver and you had a great time with them. The standard tipping rate is 15%, or $8 – $10 per individual.

Should I pre-purchase tour tickets, or can I wait until I arrive in NYC to get tickets?

The good news is, you can wait until you arrive in NYC to get tickets for any of our tours and activities; however, many of our tours are in high demand when is season and you run a chance of your preferred tour being sold out. So we recommend booking well in advance, if you can, and also we would hate to have you miss out on a great sightseeing experience with us!

How long do we stay at each stop on my tour?

It depends on the stop. Your tour guide will tell you the planned amount of time for each stop. It’s typically between 15 to 20 minutes. We have allowed enough time on every stop for you to walk around and take plenty of pictures!

Can you pick me up at my hotel?

Currently, we do not provide hotel pickup service for our NYC tours.

Are museum tickets included with the tour?

Unless otherwise noted, a public tour does not automatically include additional tickets to attractions or museums. A private tour, however, can include a wide variety of different tickets and experiences.
